Other characters are not the point. Name another attitude-heavy or outright disagreeable kid character with lines in more than one scene who *isn't* a young black girl. I just named three who are off the top of my head.

Aaaaand another problematic thing that rankled.

I'm just saying that even a non-character like him has more unexplored potential to be interesting than the resident airhead.
