That A/C had better work, too. Phoenix is under an Excessive Heat Warning and is supposed to hit 108 today, 115 this weekend, yada yada the rest of the summer. And anywhere you go except due north (in the truck lane, given a quarter century old 2.5 dragging that vehicle up the Mogollon Rim) is going to be more of the

Sure, I know it’s a reliable Toyota and it’s got a decent 0-60 time, but putting a bunch of aero-trim on a Camry makes it about as cool as one of these:

Slideshow format is not cool.

I would take this list with a LARGE grain of salt. I work in the auto industry and have NEVER heard of “caredge” nor have I have heard them being used as a real source of info.

I find this car about as appealing as a 5 course dinner that is nothing but different shaped plates of room temperature mushed peas. Ford tried to pander to the winga dinga crowd with these snooze boxes and somehow missed the mark badly.

Huh.

In Beijing, a weekend. I wouldn’t want to drive on it afterwards, though.

When I saw the headline I thought to myself “yea, all 6 cars...” and wouldn’t you know it, this slide show had exactly 6 cars.

what a joke. Not only is a slideshow to drive clicks, but its 14 slides with only 6 cars. The entire staff should feel bad.

God, I hate these slideshows. It’s just as bad as those clickbait articles you see on social media, “Jane lose forty pounds by doing this one simple trick....”.

roflol thinking a POS Miata is superior...

I don’t fly as much as I used to. I needed help from the 65ish ticket agent at the airport recently, and she was very annoyed with me.

We went on a trip and me having all 4 boarding passes was so much easier than having to juggle paper tickets with 2 kids.

The problem with digital Boarding Passes as well is that the phone brightness needs to be all the way up for the computer to see the barcode, and even then there’s a chance it won’t scan, which leads to a slight delay. I usually have both if I can help it.

Kids can be pretty judgmental, even for no good reason.  For example, I type two spaces after a period, and every few years I’m subjected to memes telling me I should change my habits.

“If you’re under 65 and have a paper boarding pass, I’m just going to assume you are going to cause delays during my airport experience,” one person tweeted.

Yeah, I hope someday I can look down at these young whipersnappers when they find out that if you aren’t careful using the teleporter that you can leave your colostomy bag behind. Then they will be in deep crap!

I absolutely use paper when I have my kids. When its just me, whatever doesnt take too much... but trying to juggle two under 10's and myself and my wife.. fuck you I am using paper so I dont have to struggle filling through the boarding passes on my phone, not to mention its not like they dont just do the SAME thing

I much prefer digital passes, but if someone wants a paper one, I have no issues with that.

What those young people don’t realize is, soon they will become old.
