They're actually functional brake cooling ducts. 

They are real, genuine brake ducts. Sort of offsets the fake hood scoop, one my gripes with my F56 Cooper S. It won me over with everything else though.

That's what I initially thought till I saw it in person last week at my dealer while getting an oil change on my '15 Sonata Sport. It's beautiful in person & the interior is incredible. Can't stop thinking about trading up!!!

Man that car is ugly. I honestly dont know how anyone can say it is attractive....but yet everything I read about it across multiple publications say how beautiful and stylish the design is....and I just cant understand.
