Yes, bite the hand that’s hurting people. Shutting up about things just makes things worse and gets you Weinsteins. But this kind of say nothing article doesn’t help anything.
In the video, Maggie is wearing a Mets shirt (which is technically classified as a Confederate monument because it celebrates a “lost cause”)
love the lack of detail. what a substantial article.
I do have a bizarrely hardline food habit borne from Covid-19.
I really don’t like chocolate without something to cleanse my palate afterwards - wine, milk, even water. I like the basic chocolate experience but there’s something about the lingering chocolate after-taste that I don’t care for.
Oh, wait, you said Donny
“Imagine you worked on Deadwood. You’d probably be pretty proud of having helped produce what’s arguably a masterpiece. Imagine then if HBO decided to take it down because one of the regular cast turned out to be a paedophile?”
Arguably might be better than the reality that they willfully made the show from the jump …
Richard Pryor would have written a whole damn movie about it but then not be able to get the studio to insure him so the starring role goes to someone else.
While I always appreciate your comments, this one was so good I had to go track down one of my old passwords for this:
Yeah, this is where I remind people that, as someone on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum and depression, we need to stop putting racism in the “mentally-ill” bag. Nobody’s objecting to mental illness here. They’re objecting to Ms. Cooper’s racism. And while there can be overlap between racist beliefs…
Patton Oswalt mentioned in an interview on here that multiple people he’s known who have tweeted about the need for love or understanding get furious replies from Trump supporters.
Of course Tucker’s angry. Racism was explained by puppets on a kids show and he still didn’t get it.
I know we’re long past the point of this being noteworthy, but today’s Republican party has made treating black people with basic human decency a political opinion.
Wasn’t David Cross one of those standoffs? I vaguely remember he and “Larry” having some feud some years back.
Just like with Spiderman 3, Bruce Campbell is always a welcome respite from an otherwise terrible movie
I kinda get pissed off when someone says “Disney/Pixar” when talking about a Pixar movie made pre-buyout.
I’ve heard a few stand ups mention that they knew Dan Whitney when they were working the comedy club circuit in the late 80's/early 90's...and they still don’t know what to make of “Larry.”
Sadly, my exposure to Larry was via the radio (remember listening to FM radio? I ‘member) in Orlando on WJRR. He would call in during the morning show and do his shtick. Wasn’t all that funny then, either.
Of the non-sequel ones, I’d say Inside Out and Coco are worth your time.
