Oh, but there’s already a “road of the dead” zombie movie!

I keep wanting to watch it and then just not having the fortitude to do it. This is something I’d normally watch, but current events are making an authoritarian takeover of the US a bit too much to watch at the moment.

Best example of that kind of candor from a filmmaker that i’ve seen was at the world science fiction convention in 1996, in LA, where there was a panel with some of the folks behind the movie based on Heinlein’s “puppetmasters.” The panel discussion could be summarized as “oh god, we’re sorry, we know it sucked -

“Fuller House”, but (here’s the twist!) it’s BRYAN FULLER.

“Avengers: Cap is a Nazi, everyone else is a Nazi and even h*ckin Mjolnir is a Nazi”

Yes! I think Melanie Lynskey is quite underrated, and I expect she can bring the freakiness required for that story.

This is kind of like the “Middleman” comics/tv series crossover comic - OH NO! WE’VE OPENED A HOLE TO THE OTHER DIMENSION! (there was a staged reading with the tv show cast and some actors performing as the comics crew out on youtube.)

Yeah - this seems more a premise for a thriller genre movie rather than a ‘romance’.

Enthiran was everything I wanted it to be.

More badass than Armistice cutting her arm off like an animal escaping a trap was the bit before, where she jams the knife in her arm and repeatedly twists it to make her trigger finger clench to shoot QA-troopers. (are they hosts, or do they seriously send the troops out with guns that can shoot humans as well as

Maeve goading a client into killing her so she can get back downstairs is deeply and profoundly fucked it. And it means she knows she’s functionally immortal upstairs. If she gets killed, she just comes back after some quality time with Felix.

But ... No Phase IV, the only movie directed by Saul Bass?

I was so pissed off - I watched the whole damned thing on HBO but it was the version without the bee mask scene.

Oh, and as for the guest getting knocked down by the shot vs the Man in Black not being knocked down, I figure it’s not that one shot was more powerful than the other, but that the MiB is so much more expierienced with getting shot by the non-fatal rounds that he knows how to brace for it and is kind of used to it.

I’m wondering if Dolores’ gun in the dresser was a hallucination or if she simply shifted to being unable to perceive it - remember, her response to a photo of the outside world was to say it didn’t look like much of anything, implying that their programmed response to things outside of the expected parameters was to

If I remember my geomagnetically induced current trivia, the biggest problems are from long north-south conductors. We can (and have) fixed some of it with isolation, but I don’t know how thoroughly deployed these have been outside of very high profile high power conductors.

Yes! That’s the one.

I don’t know if it quite qualifies as creepypasta, but there was a great website about a guy exploring a cave that got very creepy. Although, “The Descent” kind of scratched that itch pretty well, too.

Me too!

He also did the main character voice for “Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys”.
