Well, there's always Heinlein, who was a nudist in real life as well as the author of books full of nudity.

Now I want to go watch "Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control" again. (it includes a bunch about naked mole rats)

A while back I went and got rid of a whole bunch of books, including many reference books that I no longer use since I'll just look stuff up on the net. I did not, however, get rid of reference books that might be helpful for rebuilding civilization.

A few years back I read a pretty good book that heavily involved Oak Island mythos, called "One King, One Soldier". Fun read.

Good for him. I think this is a great example of ways that men can help reduce sexism.

Hm... On the one hand, more rodents means they'd be attacking eggs, but on the other hand, fewer deaths of birds from attack cats. There are certainly places where bird populations have been hit hard by cats.

Oh thank God. Since Amber and Adam are (or were last I heard) a couple, I thought this was some kind of bizarrely ironic and snarky comment about an *actual* pregnancy announcement and I was ready to be all "Uh, guys, what the fuck, over?"

I can't address the actual question, since I'm not military, but I will take a moment to mention Books For Soldiers, which is a group that takes book requests from active duty military and hooks them up with volunteers who send books. I'm one of their occasional book donors, and I admit it - I make a point of looking
