Uh... that's how the law works. If you plead your innocence when you are in fact guilty, you get a longer sentence than if you'd admitted your guilt. There's a whole list of reasons that this is a good idea; I'll let you try to work some of them out for yourself.

Stunning counterargument. You are clearly a paradigm of logical discourse and not at all an irrational and angry dogmatist suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect. The previous statements are all sarcastic.

Exactly... he said it was an assumption. In point of fact the inaccuracy of the assumption is way more than 5%, racing car tyres can have coefficients of around 1.7. So it remains to be explained why

The thing is, despite the fact he explicitly made assumptions - and assumptions which were actually pretty wrong - for some reason he's still insisting the whole thing including his conclusion was correct, because he rules out, without even looking at it, the actual empirical evidence that cars were indeed going

So his attempt at a scientific justification is actually worthless.

Why was an assumption of 1.0 valid in the first place?

But... the entire point of his calculation was to support his claim that cars can't turn faster than the speed he stated.

Huh? You were talking about the part in 1984 where Winston voluntarily joins the Party. That never happens. It never specifies how people like Winston end up in the Outer Party, and in any case, Winston outright hates the Party, he never joins it because of "subtle emotional manipulation".

Winston's a member of the Outer Party throughout the novel... and he never joins the Inner Party.

Because Obama regularly hatches conspiracies at press events.

It's physics. You send him the video of the car doing 180mph. Scientific experiment and empirical evidence, bitch.

What an idiotic comment you just made.

I was being hyperbolic of course. Titanfall is a questionable one anyway because there's a 360 version. But the important point is that in any case, one game doesn't justify spending hundreds of dollars on a console. The "no games" complaint is currently completely valid, as far as I can tell.

That ain't a "thing", that's just a fact. There are no next gen games for either PS4 or Xbox One. I don't have a Wii-U and will never get one, but ironically that's the only console worth getting at the moment as it actually has dedicated games.

I... don't think you know how to pronounce Mülle.

That's not about melanoma, though.

Um... so you're saying Westerners spend more time in sunny parts of the world... than the people who actually live there...

Is this a myth? I've never heard it. It's commonly agreed that the whole point of drinking is to get drunk, but "mixing your drinks" is only ever mentioned as a bad idea. The idea isn't that it makes you more drunk; it's that it makes you vomit.

In a classic economic analysis, "bleeding money" would generally fall into the "struggling" category for a business.

Um. But I did though. Denial levels reaching record highs!
