she’s also a teenager who makes nonsensical decisions with an uncompletely developed brain.

I’m sorry, you think a 17 year old convincing someone to get back into a car to kill himself is “inappropriate”? My toddler hitting her little sister is inappropriate. This is monstrous.

So true. And also you know that’s the whole thing. It started when Katy was dating John Mayer and he was still salty about Dear John. I will admit to liking Taylor and not liking Katy for separate reasons so I am biased. But still.

It wouldn’t surprise me because then they could both control how bad it got. But I don’t think Taylor would want Katy referring to her as a Regina George, fake feminist or bully, those are 3 things really at odds with her image.

That’s not really fair. As goddamn stupid as this is, it was taped before Manchester. It’s not like Katy interrupted a live broadcast of the events last night to be all “but wait, my dancers.”

It sounds like they had a 30-day contingency clause, and when they gave notice they would exercise that right, they got fired. Just like howe so many employers get pissy and fire an employee who gives a two-week notice. Generally the same employers that get mad if you DON’T give notice.

It’s representative of how boring my work day is that I’m offering my opinion. If the backup dancers were asking permission to work for Swift, it seems reasonable to assume that they would want to come back and work for Perry. And it seems like her telling them to include the clause wasn’t some kind of control order,

Really? Reading this put me firmly on Katy’s side.It reads like Taylor treats her backup dancers like props and Katy treated them like people.

Titus gets to do more this season because Kimmy is dealing with actual, serious plots this season. I think this season marks her first real growth as a character because she:

I’m just glad they stopped with the Robert Durst jokes.

Just watched “Kimmy Goes to Church!” And was delightly surprised. They could have utterly trashed religion, but rather it felt more like an educated critique of people.

I loved what he said after that “I’m so upset that I’m not sure that’s my name, Jacqueline.

I still can’t stop laughing at the defective Teddy Ruxpin that shouts, “White Lady!” It’s even better because you don’t actually see it; it’s just a disembodied voice offscreen.

There were so many great 30 Rock references this season! My favorite was Titus, aka “Flouncy Magoo” crying about a break up with D’Fwan.

The back half of season 2 was much better than the first half.

I don’t think its a writing decision that has made Titus the main character: I think Tituss Burgess is just that big of personality and that good of actor that the show was going to gravitate around him anyway. It’s like how Sheldon was originally not supposed to be the center of The Big Bang Theory, but the group of

I do appreciate the ways in which Kimmy is becoming more sophisticated, even as she retains her optimism. Studying philosophy is a choice that feels so right for her, even if she does want to become a crossing guard.

Great point. There is nothing worse then when you are fighting about one thing and your partner says, “WELL, you ALSO did this, that and that other thing last week”. Learning what needs to be said and dealt with, and what needs to be ignored is a total art. But if something really bothers you, absolutely bring it up

Ohhh congrats! I lived with my husband for years before getting married and it felt exactly the same afterward. But for the actual wedding day, I didn’t have a wedding planner/day-of coordinator, and I wish I’d gone over every detail of the schedule more closely.

Please and thank you must always be part of the conversation. Even if you don’t have kids date night is important. Do your thank you notes IMMEDIATELY. Don’t go overboard on the honeymoon sex. We had so much the day after the wedding I was raw for a week. It’s okay to spread it out!
