How is the interior compared to the previous gens? Any more “premium” feeling? How is the NVH? Have they managed to bake any semblance of “fun” in?
Speaking as someone that came from a 2009 Mazda3 hatch to a 2019 Mazda3 hatch--this is good. Still fun to drive and oh so nice on the inside with the red leather. It's almost conical how much nicer it is compared to the older models.
No shame here, either. He seems genuinely happy to share his experiences with this stuff and always seems to have a “how cool is that?” attitude that comes across really well without seeming stuck up.

Bitter much? I’ve had a ‘15 Crosstrek for two years now and it’s given me no problems in 33k miles. Up into the mountains to snowboard, out camping, etc.
