I'm so glad people are moving away from liking pop "ironically" to just admitting they like pop.

I knew a huge gothic lolita girl in high school. (She was both a huge fan of the stuff and physically huge.) She was mad into Evanescence. I always assume there's a whole demographic of girls like her. Japanese-obsessed/wannabe-gothic girls tend to hide in the shadows, whether they're in plainclothes or black tutus…

Comedy writers sure tend to be terrible at writing jokes about Christians. No matter how clever their other stuff is, the Christian jokes are the broadest, and really, the lowest hanging fruit. Get smart about it, do some research, actually listen to crazy evangelicals, sheesh.

Ehh I think visibility of women of color ranks a little higher as a concern than representing a spectrum of body types. Not to choose one social ill over another, but, yknow. Plus size lines are growing, and as far as a runway's concerned, they just need a frame to hang clothes on.

I really think she should have sent out that blue/green/gold chain pantsuit thing she was working on. Even if the fit wasn't 100% perfect, well…the fit wasn't perfect on many of the others' looks. At least the colors and style would have contrasted with all the beige and gold she had up there.
