Itchy, you should really write your teacher a letter, even just to remind her of that one weekend with Catcher in the Rye. You'd be surprised by how much teachers remember, even when they're retired.

[The 1990s Comedian] Sinbad, On the Seven Seas!
Am I the only one who pictured this? Or even…dreamed of this?
The real terrorist is your boss.
Real lesbians are somewhere in between the Zen Pig's description. Farmer's markets, apple pies, lots of sex.
y'all are just haters
The "Male Gaze"
At the very least, it's cool to see the way the camera *doesn't* seem to objectify her. She's naked, but she's just sorta chillin in her nudity, and the camera's just capturing it.
Breathed managed to lampoon both sides without being a douche about it like South Park. He skews a little bit towards the left, of course, but I think everyone gets a fair turn in his strips.
@not ted danson: I swear, it's still good. Try watching it more often. The guest appearances, pop culture parodies, muppets with personalities…they're all still there! And as good as ever!
Dear God!
No ink spilled over Savage Garden? There's the real tragedy of this article.
I dunno, man — they were written by the same dude, and I think they both succeed on their own terms. The book is a beautiful thing, though.
*polite applause*
YES! Bloom County! That was going to be my contribution!
What I love about Sesame Street is that it's been consistently clever over the past 40 years. The stuff my mom grew up with was great, but the stuff I was watching in the late 80s - early 90s was also solid! I've looked them up on Youtube like you guys, and I can't help but grin like a doofus watching these clips.
Looney Tunes holds up really well. I must have seen some episodes at least 20 times with my brother and dad, and they're still damned funny. Some really classic animation, too.
Elitist Trash, your avatar is creepy.
Sam Shephard is a great playwright. I'll read anything of his. I'm a little more ambivalent about his acting, but then again, I need to see more of his acting.
But the dude pointing it out? Not a waste of internet.
@Miller "Homerpalooza also has the brilliant, strobe-lit clip of Homer being shunned from the Second Base-Mobile. So you haters can cram it with walnuts."
This is for the guy at the beginning of this thread: I'm 21, and I know a lot of young kids that like "Golden Girls," either for its "kitsch" value, or out of genuine love for those characters. The move for Betty White to appear on SNL started as a Facebook page, of all places.
