I’m prepping a rape prevention presentation and my focus is on coercion and ignoring resistance. I’m coming from a “why did you put yourself in the position to be accused of rape?” angle. Anything less than enthusiasm is not consent. Not saying no is not a yes. Etc.
Can we please learn something from the Catholic church’s attempt to hide abusers and apply it to academia? Professors should not just be able to resign (moments before being fired) and then start up the same behavior at another school.
