I think “this decade” is the key. Something bad happened at BMW design sometime before 2020 because everything introduced after has been pretty bad. Like the old 2-series coupe looked great. The new one very much does not.

I take umbrage to the comparison of range and horsepower as it relates to luxury costs. Yes, more range is expensive like more horsepower is but consumers aren’t going to see that way, nor should they.
