Oh man. I’m shocked that the sort of person who films in portrait would do something like this.

I actually had to go look.
Sweet Jesus it looks like a Sunbelt rental, too. I got my QX4 stuck down by the river in 2006 and had to rent a treaded Bobcat from there to remove it. I had less than a day before the river was to overflow the banks (dams opened up upstream). My extraction was successful, thanks to an awesome guy who happened to stop…
They do, but I’d prefer that to unbleached / unwashed puckered rims.
I guess if you’re looking for a car based on appearance and don’t really care about driving, but nobody is realistically going to compare the two.
I use mine on long trips when my back needs soothing. I’m also an old man, at the advanced age of 39.
However you won’t have a long road trip in Hawaii either.
Much agree on the “more fun to drive a slow car fast.” I’m not driving a Dodge Demon, but I think I hit the limit with my G35. It’s quick enough to get into trouble in town or even out on the highway. 0-60 is around 6.1 seconds and it just keeps going well into triple digits, and is comfortable the entire time that’s…
Nobody cross-shops FWD and RWD cars. Come on. The Civic is a fantastic car, but it’s not a comparison. You can argue one is better than the other, but personal preference for some of us means no FWD. Ever.
I spent a ridiculous amount of time at work yesterday (and will today) watching videos, reading, and shopping for a BRZ... I discovered the FR-S also had available heated seats and that excites me (heated seats are life). This seems SOOO close to my 240sx, but adds stability control, an extra gear, auto climate…
Ya know... I flew into an airport in Wisconsin on a beer run on Saturday (New Glarus, ftw) and they gave me what looked like a fresh VW Touareg V8 as a crew car. NICE! Good shape, only 58k miles. I think that quick drive is all the VW / Audi experience I ever want. No thanks. How could it be so fucked up so quickly?
Thaaaaat’s what I’m talkin’ about. I REALLY miss my 240sx (both of them) from back in the day. I turn 40 in February... wonder if I’d still enjoy driving one. I should go test drive one. Just so damn cheap; I love having no car payment.
lol I know, I know. I own my comment. I know it wasn’t yours. :)
Jesus Christ that’s a lot of money. Do you guys all have $800 car payments?
Hoosier here. Can confirm. Nothing short of a new Corvette ever makes anyone look wealthy. It may be a fun car, but it’s totally white trash.
I’d rather go used BRZ Limited for half the price. These cars are perfect used. I’d never consider $30k for any car.
Wow we’ve sure come a long way. That zero-star is not at all awful; quite a bit better from the cars I used to drive when I started driving in 1994.
It does.
Gay people who are not unhappy.
Jesus that’s a lot of money for not much... I keep looking for used ones, expecting an old Chrysler to cost what it should, but they’re always still so expensive. I can’t see paying more than $12k for ANY Jeep Wrangler. (so, yeah, it’s not for me, which makes me unhappy)
Oh christ I had the joy of driving our departmental Subaru Outback yesterday at work (and might here in a bit). I wanted it to hold speed on a hill, so I do what I always do in my G35x; I downshifted with the manumatic mode. The whole time I’m riding down the hill, the speed is right where I want (30 mph). RPMs are…
