Right?!
Cost of living aside, just look at the tax and regulatory situation. There are pros and cons of living in Texas, just as there are every other state, depending on your taste. From a financial well-being perspective, California is one of the worst places one could try to raise a family.

Someone sounds salty af.

I don’t understand that outrage of wanting to paint Air Force One with the colors of our national flag. I mean the light blue and gold look nice but they are not exactly USA colors? Could the design be better? Sure. But I think we should use the colors of our flag.

A lot of armchair experts with no project being really critical and negative.

As someone who’s actually building a Jeep from scratch, with the engine from a SAAB 9000 Turbo, I can appreciate the excitement and passion that comes with combining a vehicle you love, with your favorite engine. And just how difficult and

100% agree. Grew up in northwestern Ohio. Our well was 72-78 grains hard which is REALLY hard water. We were intentionally adding over 600 ppm of salt to our water to counteract that. Yes we used an RO system for drinking and ice but I’d say at least half the people I knew who had wells had to do the same. But there

I absolutely loathe people like this. We have a bar in town that has been there for over 70 years; 70 YEARS!!!! A couple years ago a family moved in across the street. Sure enough, 6 months later they were complaining about the noise levels and how it was ridiculous. They even got the ABC involved.

You don’t need RO to remove arsenic. It’s just that a point of use RO system is the cheapest way to mitigate the problem. A couple hundred bucks vs. $1000 or so.

Arsenic is naturally occurring in ground water. It’s not a given that you need an RO system in all places, but it’s pretty common as arsenic is always there, but not always high enough to need to do anything. Also, it’s possible you had high arsenic but didn’t know it, since most homeowners don’t test their water

Kinda feels to me like those people that build a house next to a freeway, then complain about all the noise.

Oh what a bunch of malarky. I live NNW of there by about 15 miles, and I also have high arsenic. It’s super common in SE Michigan. That’s why most homes with wells NEED RO systems.

I mean, it’s an inconvenience to have a well, but c’mon this is really overly dramatic.

“Except I’m not an auto maker, R.N.”

Subaru isn’t exactly known for their build quality...

Yes. How will Ford ever figure out how to make such quality headgaskets????

I was actually thinking along those lines when he showed and discussed the battery design. Near as I can tell the battery is made up of four irreducible “planks”. They literally had to scrap and pic apart a gel-foam to gain access to individual cells, and this just for examination. Compared to the BMW i3 pancake

So build quality is low and electronic gadgetry is at an all time high.

Let me guess, every Tesla cultist who said Munro was a bunch of hacks with no credibility will now cite them as their favorite experts?

To be fair, its covered in camo, so we won’t truely know, until its unveiled.

Umm I had a golf cart that could do this, it, too, could not go 35 let alone drive down the interstate with said payload

This “truck” is closer to a tractor than a highway vehicle. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
