So now that the fanboys who were never going to buy one new are done throwing tantrums, can we acknowledge that this will probably be a good car?

They’re all influencers, rappers or retired police/military. No in-between.

For what amounts to $40k USD shipped and tagged, I’d just get a regular Jeep or get a Tahoe on nice shocks. No way I’m dropping a years salary on an incomplete project with pink halos.

Charger and Challenger folks are too smart to get hammered while they have a brick of coke and a dirty gun under their seat.

Hard to get a decent car when your license had been taken away and all your income is being garnished by your lawyer and the courts. $500 and an hour on craigslist solves that problem.

If you catch a person drunk behind the wheel of a Ford Contour; they had nothing to lose in the first place. That is someone who’s on year 7+ of giving up. Hell, getting arrested is practically an errand for them at that point.

If your $50000 car can’t work with even with a physical key (meant for emergencies) and has to be towed and reprogrammed by the manufacturer to function again, its been bricked. Not HARD bricked. But still for all intents and purposes; bricked.

It looks like what should have been a wagon that was stretched out to mid-sized CUV proportions.

I’m gonna take the Matt Farah route and believe it when it exists. Wouldn’t even make sense to add that extra weight on a 1.5 liter mill that makes less than 200 lb/ft of torque in what is supposed to be a sport compact.

We’ll just end up with a shit-ton more tornadoes to make up for it

Anything with well made touch points, crispy buttons and cooled seats, real leather trim and a panoramic moonroof is a luxury car to me. Give me an Accord Touring or Camry XSE V6 and I’ll feel like I just walked off the red carpet at the Grammys.

Every truck should be a retro inspired truck

Something about UK cops getting brand new BMWs for patrol cars while 24% of the population live under the poverty line rubs me the wrong way.

Brakes alone on a fucking AMG could buy you another car. I understand your Stellantis/FCA hate but lets not be stupid on purpose.

Cause he wanted a big V8 sedan that was cheaper to run than a goddamn E63 AMG. Most people who buy 300s and Chargers seem to enjoy them especially for the price.

Sounds like its time to consider a Lexus RX hybrid.

Currently praying that the Hardbody package becomes a real thing

The hopeful child in me wanted to believe that Honda could have given us a 3-door Integra/RSX like the days of old but the cynical adult I am fully understands why it will simply be a rebadged and re-tuned Civic sedan. The majority of Integra enthusiasts could only afford one on the used market anyways and I’d rather

Only if you wrap them around utility poles at sideshows

It sounds good but it would take 20-40 years to restructure US infrastructure enough to allow most poor people to have reliable and affordable public transit options. They haven’t even figured out high speed passenger trains yet.
