Anyone comparing a base Stinger to an Impreza might as well cross shop a C300 with a Lancer Evo. The Stinger is meant to fit in between full blown luxury sedans and top trim economy sedans like the Charger SXT, Accord Touring and Camry XSE. The value isn’t in comparing a purpose built sports car but rather a mid trim

Get a 2nd gen CRV AWD and put a lift kit on it. Done.

Bet money the Hellcat V8 will be replaced by an AMG fighting Hot-V turbo motor like the Blackwing V8 that Cadillac refuses to use for God only knows why. At least Dodge would actually use it as much as possible. If Dodge/Chrysler can slice the faces of Mercedes and BMW for 2/3 of the price again, I’m here for it.

I appreciate how Tesla has spearheaded the push towards normalizing EVs but at this point I feel like actually owning one is buying into a soft Ponzi scheme that will only work out if the fanbase continues to over value the company and accept clearly reprehensible behavior because they have money on the line.

I think you’re being a bit too cynical. Having a spokesperson for Jeep get arrested for a DUI is like having a spokesperson for huggies get arrested for child abuse. Literally the opposite of what they want to represent.

Crack fucking pipe. Unless this thing is immediately going into a museum or has some historic importance, 97k USD is about 3 times as much as any sane person should pay for one of these.

1. Stretch out a 300 and brand it as an Imperial/New Yorker for the flagship factor

The only thing that could save Lancia would be a rebadged Jeep Cherokee or Wagoneer with an expresso machine in the center console.

The lack of an E55/63 AMG recommendation is offensive

I’m hoping its RWD based but it probably still uses the Altima platform.

I was starting to think the Luxury Super Sedan game was looking stale but thank God I was wrong. I’d happily take the CT5 Blackwing over the M5 and E63 on the 6.2 V8 alone. I love the E63 AMG but every German car seems to have a variation of a 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0 motor. This is the first good decision Cadillac had made

This is intriguing in the sense that other innovations might come of it but its also an issue that no one needed solved. The drag reduction and efficiency gained is so minimal that the complexity and cost just aren’t justifiable in the long run.

Wait, wouldn’t that mean a new Celica GT-FOUR would happen?

Oh Christ.

Everything is made in china. Including much of the worlds car parts and software.

If Cadillac couldn’t move the ATS-V, there’s no way in the 7 planes of hell that Buick would be able to move this unless it was marketed as a new Regal GNX. Then they might sell 300; 50 of which are manual. Maybe.

Looks like a boutique supercar startup by BangBros.

If Chevy ever does this, not making it a direct competitor to the X6, GLE Coupe and Cayenne Coupe would be a grievous mistake. It better have all the gas motors as an option along with an EV variant. The thing would end up looking like a bargain Urus anyway so you might as well throw in a ZO6 and ZR-1 to spice things

Hyper capitalist hipsters will love these.

Not having power locks and windows on a car at this point in time would save you like a couple hundred bucks at most. In fact it would cost you more to custom build a model with all manual features if they are available on a model.
