Motorweek Retro. Seeing how far cars have come over the past 30 years really makes you appreciate them more.

I actually know this one because a former colleague bought her new Highlander ~18 mos. back: If you have a two-person household and a single dog and are American, a Highlander is the smallest vehicle that can possibly transport all three lifeforms simultaneously.

We appreciate you! A highly efficient traveler is a rare trait these days.

Even five years ago I would never have considered buying a car from the Korean brands.

2016 Escala Concept:

Anyone mentioned a V6T ? Because you need a V6T.

Meh. The LFA is a fantastic car, don’t get me wrong, but the LC looks better.

That doesn’t look horrible. It’s a Nissan, so it is horrible, but it doesn’t look horrible.

I think how much you spend on the vehicle is highly, highly dependent upon what other expenses you have. If you make $100k/yr but you own your house/condo, have no student loan debt, and have some money in the bank then go right ahead and buy a $70k car.

I think the problem here is that you can’t actually market this thing to people who don’t know about cars. There’s no wool-pulling. It’s not like the Urus (I finally have an excuse to drive a Lambo!) or some heritage-laden tweedmobile (Careful with the Jag, darling).

Lots of car names became famous to normies for

“The plan would be key to reducing the impact of climate change enriching those with influence over the government.”

That’s how we gays console ourselves when the “hung guy” rejects us.

No worries, the average Corvette buyer’s cataracts make the GM visibility problem moot.

No interior shots and it’s been lowered with a loud exhaust and 114K on the clock?

Tangentially related, I feel like maybe Toyota needs to apply some Konmari method to their busy, overwrought design.

Especially if you can find a ‘Decapotable’.

All you motorhead snobs diss a car like the Chrysler PT Cruiser. The car is still seen all over the place in Tucson. Seems to be very popular with senior citizens: they’re cheap and they have a lot of room. The 40s styling may be polarizing, but criticizing this unique car when all the sedans and pickups look

I think Hyundai has some of the most tasteful all-around designs on the market right now, especially for a more affordable brand. Affordable doesn't have to look cheap.

Its interesting to me that the single spoke failed while in tension (at the top) and not when it was at the side. I would have expected the combination of the moment force and sheer when at the 9 o’clock position to cause it to fail first.

“you can go now”
