Once again, nothing to back up your argument. Other than claiming my objective support doesn’t say what I say it does. Which it does. Brewers have had more players on DL for longer and have had more “lost-WAR.”  Fly the L.

My god. I cannot believe you. Nelson would be pitching on this team if he wasn’t hurt. Who cares when the injury occurred (other than your point that the Brewers were able to plan a little). Your argument that he won’t be as good after the injury literally supports my argument that the Brewers have been more affected

Christ. You want me to just ignore the fact that the Brewers are without one of the better pitchers in baseball all year? Sure, they had the offseason to help mitigate the issue, but the fact of the matter is that he isn’t pitching this year. Brewers also missed Davies for 2/3 of the year. Miley for 1/3. Suter is out

Missing Yu for probably like 140 innings: about 2.5WAR. Missing a couple months of Bryant: about 3WAR. Missing Morrow: like .5WAR.

That’s a great suggestion. Thank you for helping my argument. Going off of last year’s numbers alone, Jimmy Nelson - by himself - basically covers the missed time from Darvish, Bryant, and Morrow.

Haven’t logged in in a while. Saw this and figured I’d check it out again. Looks like Brewers have had WAY more DL stints, and not just to “mediocre” guys: LoCain, Yelich, Braun (eh, he’s pretty mediocre), Anderson, Knebel, Nelson (!), Davies, Thames, etc.

Crazy amount of injuries would be the Brewers. Cubs have had an average, at best, amount of injuries.

And you’re in the flaming pile of trash that is Texas. Congratulations.

You’re an asshole.

I wasn’t meaning to compare the two states directly. MN is killing it right now compared to Wisconsin (largely because of gov’t policy), and even though Wisconsin does have good healthcare, MN is one of the absolute best. But that doesn’t mean people shouldn’t move to Wisconsin.

You sure are open to new information, aren’t you. Fuckin google it. Wisconsin summers are fantastic, and last for months. It was almost 90 degrees in early May (which, considering the humidity, is realllly fuckin hot), and it was 95 degrees in late September this year.

I’ll give you the race aspect of your comment, but quality of life doesn’t change if you are a democrat.

Milwaukee summers are amazing. And 81 might not seem that high, but it is typically humid, so I doubt it would feel too low for you unless you are from Texas or AZ.

Like anywhere, a lot of the best stuff is only available locally or regionally.

This is overly dramatic. Wisconsin has good schools, good healthcare,  low taxes, natural beauty; overall a great quality of life. It is by no means perfect, but telling someone not to live in WI because of politics is overboard.

I grew up in a small town outside of Milwaukee. There is a HUGE number of people who don’t think they are racist because they legitimately believe there is a difference between a n—-a and n—-er.

What frozen wasteland are you talking about? Wisconsin has some of the best summer weather in the country.

This is objectively wrong. Wisconsin cheese routinely include award-winners from around the globe. Literally last year a Wisconsin cheese won the world championship of cheese (which is a real thing). First time in over 30 years a cheese from the US won.

Man, I hope this is sarcasm. Wisconsin is beautiful. Not a lot of states provide an exemplar of each season.

Wisconsin is ranked in the top half of states in obesity rate.
