I hope American Gods also ends up doing well

Holy shit, an A! I can't wait until Sunday now. Just sucks that we're only going to be getting 8 episodes this season instead of the usual 10.

Yeah, The Magicians TV version has taken a really weird path when compared to its book counterpart. I still do enjoy it, but was disappointed that they moved the Julia stuff to season 1. I loved reading that unfold alongside the other storyline from The Magician King.

At this point it seems like the show is going to keep hitting the really major events while taking its own path to get to them.

Agreed. It's been a while since I last read CW (so could be wrong), but I definitely feel that its story could be shortened into 8 episodes. I also really want that last moment from the book to be the final scene of this season. I watch The Expanse with a friend who hasn't read the books and would love to see his

I actually find it a bit ironic that The Magicians, which was given a 13 episode order, decided to speed through book 1 and add a storyline from book 2 in its first season. While The Expanse, with its shorter episode order, decided to take things real slowly and not even complete book 1 during its initial season.

Absolutely loved this episode. Thomas Jane was just fantastic tonight, and I'm really going to miss him on the show. Those last 10/15 minutes were beautiful and it was a bit difficult to not tear up. Just a bit sad realizing that a Belter saved the entire planet of Earth, and a majority of Earth's citizens will

Yay, so happy that The Expanse reviews are coming back! I can't wait to discuss future events with everyone.

Low readership numbers is the supposed reason (It seems like more people actually read The Magicians over The Expanse). This really sucks though. I'd always thought that The Expanse was one of those shows whose viewership base would grow as it progressed (maybe a smaller scale Game of Thrones).

I've looked around a bit (mainly checking out Handlen's twitter) and he mentions that coverage has been dropped. So, sadly seems like no The Expanse reviews this season.

CW probably has Supernatural on auto-renew at this point.

I fucking love the CW. So glad CEG is coming back. Just please don't cancel iZombie now. Losing that would be heartbreaking.

This truly was a beautiful show and I'm really sad it's over now. It's kind of hard to believe that I'm never going to see these characters again. Really going to miss Daniel.

Haha, beautiful might not have been the best adjective to describe Manu's voice.

Yeah, I think Walter would be a great choice. Plus he could be using one of those voice modifiers which would explain why Prometheus does not have an English accent.

No Walter as well sadly. They do reference him, so clearly the writers still remember he exists. Maybe one day they'll bring him back. Colin Salmon was another standout from the early seasons (although in a much smaller role than Donnell or Bennett).

Loved this episode so much, easily one of my favorites in the entire series. Was super excited to see Moira and Deathstroke again (Though I did miss Tommy, Roy and Manu Bennett's beautiful voice). Wish they could've also joined in. I feel like I'm probably going to watch some seasons 1 and 2 Arrow episodes tonight.

I'm pretty sure it was already pointless considering he had Artemis as a spy. She probably told Prometheus as soon as she found out (assuming he didn't know prior to that).

I'm trying to imagine any backup plan they could've had if he'd just decided to keep on walking. Maybe they would've had the agent follow Mon-El around the city posing as a homeless person.

No wonder Mon-El didn't want to be a hero. His first experience ended with him nearly getting beaten up by a giant alien parasite and his second one ended with him getting zapped by a homeless dude.
