Yeah 0 Faranheit today is beach weather....

When I started the process of restoring my 240Z years ago the engine was sad needed rebuilt. Talked to Eiji over at Datsun Spirit, who if you don’t know is top tier, what it would take to get my L28 to an honest 200 - 225 rwph on 91 oct +/- I was floored. Talking damn near $10k in the engine alone plus more for things

I’m going to wager that dyno was reading very generously the day this car went on the rollers.

I’m really surprised they even let y’all report anything on the Hulkster for obvious reasons.  Did the new company somehow forget why the previous one got sued out of existence?

We’re going to find out soon that the whole thing was staged and practiced. I’m surprised Hogan didn’t jump off the top guardrail onto the car and then give the driver a figure-four leg-lock.

The irony of Jalopnik pointing out Porsche’s spelling error is delicious.

Or Tesla does not want to give up intellectual property or autonomy to be a “partner” in China.”

more expensive than my wife will allow and bigger than my remaining garage space. it is a dream glad they are cheaper than most.

That sort of thing tends to make the pilot HIGHLY motivated to find the limits of the aircraft. At least so said my C-17 driver uncle who got shot at a couple times over there.

You win.

I don’t know that this would merit their attention, given how distinctly proportioned the resultant kit is and how few are likely to be produced.

The only thing I see that they could have a hard time with is the similarity of the LB40 on the rear wing. It doesn’t have to say Ferrari explicitly, just look at the shit they tried to throw at DeadMau5 for his custom “Purrari” Badges.

Good question. The comparable past lawsuits were based around kit cars for Fieros, specifically the ones that actually looked really convincing. This one doesn’t say “F40" or “Ferrari” on it anywhere and is different enough in proportion that it might not succeed if they try.

I hate that I’m too tall for the AZ-1

Finally billionaire doors on a F40.

The proportions suck so badly, all I see is this:

While it’s probably a fair price, in today’s market, I’d be afraid of the karma that would come with it. Do I want to enable legalized extortion? Is the previous owner dead? Or in prison? A crime victim? Or, just incredibly stupid? A repo, for the same price, would have far fewer unanswered questions.

Oh blast it all! And I just had the help at the Palm Beach property wash and wax the silver one for a romp around South Beach this weekend.
