It depends on your age at the time of the first vaccination. If you were under 15, you only need two doses. If you were over 15, you need a 3rd dose. If you are over 26 now, you don’t need any more doses.

Definitely push the issue, as the HPV vaccine is more effective the younger it’s given. It’s for that reason the vaccine schedule was changed and those under 15 need only 2 doses of the vaccine, while those over 15 need 3 doses. Tell your pediatrician you want it and don’t want to wait!

100000% agree! It’s particularly bad in urban/suburban settings where there’s enough ambient light around so the driver *really* doesn’t seem to be disturbed by the lack of their own headlights. Plus my maniacal flashing of my own headlights to notify them gets lost in a sea of other cars.
