I can only cosplay as an old man:

Every season a new professor..

Wait, Ash’s mom has a name?! And it’s not “Ash’s Mom”?

Now playing

Critically-acclaimed anime movie Your Name is on a U.S. theatrical run that may qualify it for an Academy Award. It’s the story of a small-town girl and a Tokyo boy switching bodies—and changing each other’s lives—that is the fifth highest-grossing anime film of all time. In 2003, Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away won

Counterpoint : if you don’t read the comics, avoided the chatter and conjecture all summer and just watched the show last night, like I did, it was totally worth it.

I think glenn is coming back from this one. I have a feeling.

Trying this near an American college campus would leave a business in shambles by the end of the day.

I see this art argument everywhere and I can see how someone can come to that conclusion. Because nowadays everything is considered to be art. Also censorship is something I personally don’t condone in a wolrd with free speech.

Anime is an art form and as such the creators should be allowed to freely express themselves.

What is the endgame of discussing it though? What is the purpose of the discussion? I would say most people familiar with anime already know that fanservice culture is fairly prominent.

Aw, someone didn’t read!

As consumers, we also have a right to discuss the things we watch and buy. You’re telling people they shouldn’t exercise their right to talk about something just because you disagree with what they’re saying.

Amelia Cook obviously tried to make as clear as possible that she doesn’t think that the artists should be unable to freely express themselves or that anime has to change to accommodate her opinions. She only wants to express her opinion, which is shared by many others. What’s the harm in that?

I honestly DO understand how you could think what you are saying is right, but you are essentially asking people to stop discussing art. It is very clearly stated that there is no advocation of censorship, mere discussion shouldn’t be able to end art.

I know they aren’t the majority but this is why I stay away from competitive games and it’s culture. People are just toxic and make playing with random people unfavorable.

I’m more angry about the silence afterwards than I am about some of the missing features.

truly, we are all magikarp

This whole thing sounds fishy.
