I guess I don’t feel bad now for stiffing them a $1 “humble tip” and going 50/50 between the content provider and charity.

Getta load of the rich kid over here. >_>
Expecting heat for this, but mine is the Nintendo Switch. I bought it because I love Fire Emblem. I’m not a Mario fan or even a fan of the rest of their titles. Sometimes I play Animal Crossing with my girlfriend and that’s fun, but there are 0 games on this console that get me excited. I was really hoping for some…
You are maligning the PS4 and never played Bloodborne, GTA5, Uncharted? Sheesh. PS4 was worth it for H:ZD alone.
I got really lucky back in the day. I bought the Sega CD model 2 and didn’t buy many games for it until a local video game rental store under pressure from the local Blockbuster went under. The store sold off all of it’s stock dirt cheap including all it’s Sega CD games for $3 - $5 each. Since no one really had a Sega…
Going to show my age here....
This is my exact experience. I think I bought it on launch for Dead Rising, which was fun but the ‘tablet integration’ was really underwhelming.
Everything else on it that I wanted was either on my PS4 (usually better made) or on the PC (and much better made). I think I’d call it ‘superfluous’ rather than ‘pointless’
Definitely the Xbox One. Luke’s article from the other day captured my feelings perfectly: the Xbox One was completely pointless. I think I bought like three games for it, and ended up using it for maybe 10 hours total. It wasn’t that it was “bad”, just that basically any Xbox exclusive game that interested me worked…
The Dreamcast controller's triggers just hurt to use
My only real complaint with the DS3 are the trigger buttons. I don’t mind the lightness.
I do not understand the hate for the placement of the thumbsticks.
I have never met a person in my life who finds this the optimal way to play modern 3D games with camera controls—shooters especially—leading me to think that leaving them there not just for the PS4, but on the DualSense for the PS5 as well, is just some hardware team at Sony fucking with us.
100% right that the D-pad is utterly worthless.
That’s a major source of inputs that doesn’t work properly.
“Bad controllers, the lot of them! Sure, you could survive using them, but compared to the Dreamcast’s controller, or the GameCube’s, or the Xbox’s, or especially the Xbox 360's, they were crud.”
Most people (myself included) seem to find the DS4 a lot more comfortable.
What you’re not even gonna talk about the Share Button, an idea so brilliant that both Nintendo AND Microsoft included one on their next controllers??
The Touchpad was used in EVERY game as the new Select Button.
