I just traded in my 2018 Silverado, the first pickup I’ve ever owned. I absolutely loved having a 4WD truck and actually got to do a ton a real “truck” stuff with it. I went a different route with my next vehicle (2014 XTerra) but if you were making me choose one vehicle forever I think I’d go back into the pickup!!!

Nice set up! Cool wrenching all yourself. I just bought a ‘14 XTerra and need to learn everything that was put on it before I head out to a trail somewhere (from what I can see it’s a simply 1.5" lift but I have no clue what was included in it). Wondering - what are “petite wife’s” thoughts on not having step rails?…

Overall I like it and that interior is pretty sweet. But every time I look at it I see a different vehicle, like it’s the next generation depending on the angle. I see Infinity, Audi, Mercedes, Cadillac (literally - isn’t that grill shape from Caddie?)! That’s interesting but I fear it then loses its own identity.

I’m thinking first gear is aligned with a lot of other comments - to get rid of the bad taste given from the dealership experience in general (and so they can control the pricing).
