They don’t really put much like that in American history books. The most that got covered during my years in public school about the concentration camps we had for the Japanese population during WW2 was that we had ‘internment camps’ aaaaaaaand that was about it.

You misunderstand - those folks did learn from WWII. What they learned, though, is that they do want a repeat so they can target their own untermenschen (people of color, immigrants, etc.).

Also if half of all doctors were in a “pro-murder” Facebook group, we wouldn’t call that “a few bad doctors”, we would say the whole institution needs to be fixed.
