Rania Youssef’s Risque Dress

It’s totally about making women uncomfortable because they can. The men in those situations knew that I was in a tenuous position—that I couldn’t react badly because I was at work and they could complain to the bosses. You get good at laughing them off or defusing the situation, but it kills you a little bit every

I blame The Professional, but so many craggy, creepy guys wanna be around the sort of beauty that Portman has- seemingly fresh and unforced. I specify her beauty because it’s clear that they don’t give a darn about her intelligence or spirit.

Here’s the infuriating thing:

Guess what Moby, we believe her. As a former cute 18 year olds who was creeped on by 30+ year old men, we know it’s a thing dudes do. Log off and / or delete your account.

Homonyms are the bete noire of many of the bloggers here.

Ok but hear me out

And this is supposed to be a first display of an offering from a LUXURY brand. Meaning, big prices for ready-to-wear.  Meaning, it should be impeccable.

It looks cheap.

I like the concept but this looks like a Project Runway fail.

I love Rihanna but this looks like she saw Balmain’s blazer dress and thought, “Do you know how this could be improved? By being wrinkled and ill-fitting.”

Rihanna has great legs and buckets of confidence and she can work that very short hemline like the pro she is.  That said, that “dress” is impractically short.  No sitting, no walking, definitely not office appropriate.  I like the idea, but I’m disappointed in the execution.

That dress is...dumb. I like the idea of the boning in front, but it’s executed all wrong. It pulls at the fabric strangely and makes it look like it’s not fitted right up top, in addition to giving her pointyboob in a very uncool way. The extra long/wide/bell-ish sleeve looks chic when you’re posing for the pap, but

Not a fan of the blazer dress she’s wearing - it doesn’t seem to fit her right - bunches in weird places and pulls in others. And if her own damn blazer dress looks ill-fitting on her, how is it going to look on us norms?

I have like three pairs of booties that look something like this, and they are not QUITE as comfortable as sneakers, but they are a hell of a lot more comfortable than 9/10ths of shoes aimed at women.

YES. You can have chainmaille and rivets OR lace and ribbons, but this is just too much.

“Try-hard” was my first thought... sort of the “hat on a hat” of goth foot fashion.

I for one, think anyone that wants to wear these shoes should be allowed to wear them. All I ask is two things: 1st practice and perfect walking in them at home before going out in the world and 2nd please don’t be in front of me in the security line at the airport.

I would have murdered someone for these ten years ago, but they’re a touch fussy for my tastes now. Replace the velvet with just more black leather, and ditch the ribbon, and I would buy them tomorrow. Do those things and make them all-black, and I would buy them tonight! I unironically love Gothic Lolita, although

I like it but without the chains.

I feel like I simply sweat too much to be goth. Just looking at all those chains and pleather and velour are making beads of perspiration form on my upper lip.
