I don’t know how you do it, but around here there are response fees for some police calls, and businesses can pay the city to get uniformed police officers to work at events.

The prices of old civics and corollas is insane. A 2001 Corolla in good condition with <150k miles goes for ~6k in my area. A 2001 Lexus LS with the same miles in much better condition goes for 8k.

And to your point - the used car market for American cars isn’t just in America. You can sell cars world wide (espically in countries with lax trade rules / emission standards). Banks could export cars all across the world to people who would love the chance to get a good deal.

To a point - you can export cars easier than houses and you can put cars in warehouses.

It’s ludacris. I wish it were a no cost factory option to get the minimum diameter rim that clears the brakes. There are just too many pot holes to run low profile tires and fragile rims in America.

Thank you! If we only cared about lap times, we’d drive turbo AWD cars with CVTs and 300mm wide tires with no steering feel but active aero and active suspension. And if we cared about acceleration, we’d ride sportbikes and drive V8s.
