What minority groups are you talking about? Some minorities do very well in America and things like affirmative action make it harder for high achieving groups to get into top education programs.

Toyota makes a ton of sense - it’s probably one of the cheapest engines, it’s probably one of the lightest, and aside from the Honda J series, it’s probably one of the most overbuilt N/A V6s.

Ain’t that the truth. With respect to leg and head room, the Honda Fit is as spacious as my Lexus LS (but the fit is much narrower).

I’m a Consumer Reports subscriber and I checked this out after I saw the results on CNBC.

And the electrical infrastructure is configured for a most people to plug in their electric cars between 5 and 6 o’clock and charge 40 kwh of energy in a few minutes?

And in X years when the cars can charge in minutes, you’ll need capacitors to supply the charge and mediate the incoming current.

yeah, you just need to pull the permits to run a massive electrical wire to the supercharger. And someday you might want to put in some super capacitors and batteries and solar panels. So there’s that.

It makes sense that they can’t commit to a price, but it seems like there’s a bump stop at MSRP, which I would have been willing to pay.

I’m amazed that dealers play the ‘on the lot game’. I almost bought a Honda Fit last year but the dealer was staffed by jive turkeys.

If you know about Grand Seikos, you know everything there is to know about Lexus.

It depends on the year. The LS430s had laminated glass as an option, but all current LS460s have it on the front windows (the long wheel base cars have laminated rear windows). I think they all have thicker glass than something like a Yaris but that’s not saying much.

Apologies, I could have been more clear.

I got a module from vaistech (I think mine is called the SL3b?) and it rocks! It plugs into the factory wiring harness and fools the head unit into thinking that the bluetooth audio stream is a minidisk player. I can even use my steering wheel controls to change the tracks and adjust the volume.

They sure have. I drive a 2001 Lexus LS and this weekend I added a bluetooth module to the radio and installed double thickness glass to quiet it down.
So now I have a quiet car that makes 300 horsepower, has 0 rattles, gets 25 mpg on the freeway, and doesn’t even have much rust on it.

Well don’t let me stop you. Good luck with the Avalanche.

Yeah, may as well load up your dirtbikes in the bed of an Odyssey and tow your 5000 lbs of groceries with it too.

Get a Ridgeline.

Seriously! Pulling onto the left side of the bridge and standing on the shoulder before the car. All it takes it one idiot to look at the car long enough for target fixation to set in and they’re as toast as the car.

Good lord Ford’s on a tear.
