The Scion XB came to market in 2003/2004. Twitter its hashtags started in 2007.
Oh man the crown comfort - a column shifted manual, normally aspirated diesel? Yes please. I’d buy one tomorrow if I could get it. OR else I’ll have to wait for 2020.
My original comment was addressed towards a line that was edited out the article.
The nature of the bike absolutely matters. A ported, jetted, expansion chambered mucked with, liquid cooled two stroke like an RZ350 that makes 70 horsepower across a 1,500 rpm powerband? Probably not on the street and probably not without some type of insurance.
I know that the Escalade seems like a competitor for the Land Cruiser, but my experience has been that the buyers couldn’t be more different.
It’s worth paying for a newer one. Don’t discount the GS400/GS430. They’re awesome cars. I think the GS430 is more sorted out between the two. It gets pretty good milage (25 mpg on the freeways, nearly 30 mpg on road trips) and they’re not too much. You can find one around 160k miles for ~4500 where I live. You can…
In a lot of cases, the ES is closer to the price of a V6 Camry than an Avalon. It’s amazing but true. I guess people figure the Lexus is going to have expensive repairs.
This isn’t on the Toyota Tundra platform. It’s a Land Cruiser. Toyota’s SUV on the Tundra platform is called the Sequoia.
No point arguing about it on the street. Either the guy was going to listen or not. If the guy was concerned, the alfa driver could have inquired ‘why do you suggest I do that?’
I’d bet dollars to doughnuts that I’ve crashed more motorcycles than you ever will. And you’re discounting the protective benefits of gear. I’ve walked away from a 110 mph crash on a track - sore but well enough to load my bike and drive home. And my story isn’t uncommon.
It’d be interesting to put it on any performance car. I’d like to know what the limits of the car are and at my level of skill, I can’t brush up against most of the limits most of the time. It would be interesting to put the car in a true race mode and see what it can do / how it does it.
That’s a great picture of you! Work those angles. Get it hunty!
Seriously.
Oh it’s that motorcycle that would absolutely destroy the $40k mustang V8 on a drag strip. Heh. So do you have some sort of cuckold thing going on?
What’s a divorcecycle?
That’s an awesome deal! The Malibu is a really good car (even the old one). And on the spectrum of reliability it’s closer to a Lexus than a mini. I hope she loves the space - that car has so much leg room.
And it works to some extent, but cars generally dont have enough ride height to do it well. And SUVs are too heavy and have a poor ‘leverage’ ratio and center of gravity that makes it harder to get the wheels to track the ground properly.
Why not sell your 22's and get a summer/fall/spring set of 17s?
Certain death? Are you anticipating to ride drunk and without a helmet?
