For my money, there’s nobody in the intervening 6 years who has stepped in to fill the weirdly subversive, genuinely funny, and wickedly sharp shoes of X-play...so I’ll be tuning in (if tuning is the thing I need to do to watch it). If this new G4 can capture that spirit, I’ll certainly be happy.

I’d really like to go to concerts again. I am not going to a concert anytime soon. Even outdoors I just think nah. I mean I’m gonna have to pee at some point and doing so outside would probably not be allowed.

I can’t imagine Disney World during a pandemic would be fun. Imagine wearing a mask in the hot Florida sun all day.

“ethnic intimidation” = “being non-white around someone who is terrified of everyone who is not white”. It’s like an agoraphobe trying to sue the outdoors for being there.

Micaela Heck” is a weird name for a cat.

Saw this post title and immediately assumed my cat wrote it.

I like the trains. With relatively easy access to Denver, it should be a no brained.

So if you run out of hand soap, you can use the other soap and put it on your hands?

Because eggshell shards submerged in uncooked eggs do not like to be picked up that way at ALL.

Imagine how sad one’s life must be to review-bomb some game on Metacritic, esp. over some perceived “SJW”-ness or something.

Shocked to see Chris D’Elia has been accused of being a comedian.

“Well that explains it, you aren’t really anything are you?”

I’m glad he did too, it provided an opportunity for Julianne to point out that makeup is not a requirement for offensive brownface costumes.

it seems Rapoport also needs education on how to not talk down to people as a matter of simple civility/diplomacy.

May all of their bio children grow up to be radical queer atheists.

Saying “A big refund is not a super great thing” and “If you need to err on the side of caution, better to get a little back, than have a surprise underpayment” are not mutually exclusive. Unless you’re planning out every cent for investments, having to make an unexpected payment to the IRS is going to mess with your

Mathematically, you’re absolutely right. A refund is an interest free loan to the government. Owing taxes is an interest free loan *from* the government. But the problem is that if you take too big of a loan from the government, they penalize you.

Eh, not really. I used to say the same thing and a financial planner is actually the one who counterargued, “yeah but just how much are you going to make from that ‘interest-free loan’?” We get really excited about interest, and it’s kind of silly considering most bank interest rates are like 0.25%. Then again,
