We saw it with the Black Panthers and how the men shoved the women aside, even though the early work and activism was by women - the script that BLM followed, as well, with the same outcome so far - black men taking the forefront. Same with Civil rights, with many of the men rightly…

May I also add that talking about colorism to black men is like talking about racism to white people. They just don’t get it

Why would a Black man speak on behalf on all men when it’s a specific issue to us? It may not be intention but it feels like you’re moving the goal post.
I don’t think it’s inappropriate to say here “I wish a nucca would,” both in highlighting the audacity and in anticipating and encouraging the entertaining exchanges that would potentially ensue.
