so, can you do a netboot install so it is CLI only, then do a "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop" equiv and install the BETA version? I usually like doing this at home so I don't have to use a huge medium, or do mass updates after the fact. It can be buggy at times.

The windows snapping was brought to GNOME project before windows 7 came out.

Some of the features are what has been in linux GNOME for a while, desktops & windows snapping (atleast when I used Beryl and the FGLRX drivers, it has been a while).
