I imagined that in some parallel universe, pressing the button halves the wait time for it to turn green again. Therefore, if you press it several times in a rapid fashion, you will just continuously halving that time, but never reach the end.

You forgot to include another type of person that pushes the button once, and when another person approach the crosswalk and tries to press the button, they get blocked and say “I already pushed the button”

If you have a high demand for Tesla or Elon articles, you don’t say “Yeah, I think that’s enough for today”, close out, and start counting your pennies. No. You pump out as much articles as you can.

Don’t forget the manufacturing experience of the bigger companies, their political strong arm, and an army or marketers.

I know people who would more likely buy the ones just above the cheapest.
