Criminal handles some really interesting crime stories beyond the usual murder fare I’ve seen most other true crime podcasts cover. Example: I just listened to an episode about a rare book thief who can’t be stopped, and before that was an episode involving southern murder ballads.

I enjoy the Criminal podcast a lot. Revisionist History is also excellent.

I usually dislike cringe comedy but I loved Fleabag and Crashing. She is so talented and I hope she gets way more gigs. Also, Susan Wokoma pops up in Crashing and she makes all the good Brit shows (Chewing Gum, Crazyhead, etc.) even better.

Also - boyfriend is (or wants) cheating but also wants “girlfriend” in the picture in case cheating sex scenario doesn’t work out to his satisfaction.

Okay, I actually am in a polyamorous relationship, and have been since about 2001, and I can tell MVP that there’s actually a term for the bullshit her boyfriend is pulling. It’s called “Relationship Broken? Add More People!”, and it refers specifically to the kind of person who thinks that polyamory is a solution to

I read this title as “ my boyfriend wants new pussy but still needs to split the rent cost”

This whole situation makes me sangry. Cinefamily has been a hugely needed showcase for interesting, obscure, bizarre and offbeat films that almost never get shown. They have monthly themes, unique programs, and they were a very welcome replacement when the owner of the Silent Movie Theater was murdered. I am going to

The worst part is the pro-feminism branding that they use for a lot of their programs. I guess they can go join Devin Faraci and Joss Whedon in the “Disgraced Male Ally” club. Perverts.

How do you know I’m not out there trying to solve problems? My life goes beyond the comments section of Jezebel. People post comments on articles. That’s what we all do. My calling masculinity toxic is just as ineffective as you taking the time to comment on my comment being disingenuous. If you’re so concerned about

New York is a city of renters - we live in apartment buildings, and the tenants make the neighborhood.

This isn’t your suburban cul de sac, son.

When in Rome, Do As The Romans Do.

If you are hypersensitive to noise, New York City is not the place for you.

Get the fuck out.

Did you read the posters above describing the concept of people coming into a historic neighborhood with long-established, cultural norms, and then trying to change those norms to meet their preferences? Race/gentrification/ social issues have everything to do with it. Colonizers/Columbusers/Gentrifiers frequently

Well, that and (I think) to show the Russian people that democracy is crazy and leads to stagnation and collapse, so they should just keep going along with this whole Putin thing.

What pisses me off most about President Dipshit inserting himself in this story is that per his proposed healthcare reform, the children suffering like that here at home would be left to die while their parents are saddled with a copious amount of medical debt.

Great comment.

Our feeling at my house is you don’t get health insurance if you didn’t vote Clinton. If you voted trump, you get shot in the foot with a nail gun as well.

she’s trying to destroy Depp’s career..

I was born in 1983, so I think i’m right at the cusp of “Millennial” status and I don’t have much time for the generation that invented the Polaroid camera but is now bitching about cellphone selfies. My dad had a 30+ year career at a job he got because he could turn a double-play and they wanted him on the company

Gosh, a medium-talent hack whose main defining characteristic was she was less-sexist & racist than her Fox News colleagues has a hard time finding an audience outside of her bubble?

Color me not fucking surprised.

I live for a mid 90s reference, it can’t be helped ;-) xoxo
