Adding to that pile is Lance Reddick’s performance, which slays the house down boots”

He looks like The Ghost of Christmas Past from the Robert Zemeckis/Jim Carrey version of A Christmas Carol

People are so negative. Yes, Forza and ESO aren’t doing anything that new, though the former looks amazing. Minecraft Legends is taking the IP in a new direction that seems like a natural fit. Redfall looks like Arkane once again giving players cool abilities and weapons to play with while remembering not to punish

Do we know how Xbox Live Gold numbers compare to Gamepass? How many of those Playstation Pluys subscriptions are at each tier? It seems weird to equate Playstation Plus’ overall numbers, especially from last summer, to gamepass numbers when they aren’t really the same thing.

I’m normally one to respect other’s opinions, but such careless dismissal of Emperor’s New Groove is blasphemy and I will not have it!

I see this take a lot, and full disclosure I haven’t played all of Arkane’s games, but I’m not fully convinced they’re the best fit. I’ve always felt like a crucial part of a Deus Ex game involves maps/hubs that are not inherently hostile environments, giving you a chance to explore in a more relaxed state.

Ok, maybe not quite an “open world” but the Prague in Deus Ex Mankind Divided is a work of art. By making a smaller city hub they managed to avoid the problem a lot of open worlds run into, where there ends up being so much space that it feels empty, and the only way to combat that emptiness is to fill the area with

Sorry but Jack is FFC’s worst film by a longshot.

I have not played Deathloop yet.

Sony owns the FILM rights to Spider-man, which they purchased decades ago, and nothing else. That’s why it took so much work to bring him into the MCU; Marvel had to play ball with Sony. They want people to think they have exclusive video game rights by doing things like paying for him to be a Sony exclusive character

Just a small correction. 12.6" isn’t a foot and a half, it’s just over a foot, or 1.05 feet. The math also seems to be a little off because I get 12.3" but I’ll just assume its rounding since I didn’t measure the pixels myself.

The multiplayer is worth checking out, provided people are playing it. Haven’t seen another game with anything like Fragile Alliance or Undercover Cop. Also, while Yahtzee disliked the visual style and the gunplay I thought it had a unique look and felt visceral, so to each their own I guess. Jeff Gerstmann’s review

Hate the short single player all you want, but you should at least give the multiplayer a chance. There isn’t really anything else like Fragile Alliance or Undercover Cop. Also, this game as some styyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyle.

Both Hitman and Deus Ex Mankind Divided sit at around 650K owners on Steamspy. VGchartz show console and retail PC sales at 500K and 950K respectively, so totals of around 1.15M and 1.6M for those titles. Not sure if VGChartz counts digital console sales. Either way, I would assume below expectations. Keep in mind

Kind of. It was free to play for the weekend, but you didn’t get to keep it. They do that fairly often.

I think the Season Pass is $30, but it also comes with consumable shit you don’t actually need. I’m not sure if they said what the 2nd story DLC price is, but the first one was $10USD/$12CAD. As for Destiny, I don’t feel like $40 CAD was worth it for the content in Rise of Iron. On top of that, if you don’t buy it you

I needed a third act. It’s pretty clear that the meeting with Janus isn’t going to go well and it would have been the right place to end the game. If they wanted this to be the middle game in a trilogy, then having it end with the “bad guys” having the upper hand ala The Empire Strike Back would have been a better

Expensive? The first one was $10 USD. Not that bad really. If you want to see overpriced DLC look at Destiny or anything EA puts out.

What exactly is happening with your controllers when they break? I have a toddler who literally throws mine around and I’ve never had an issue.

Probably not something that they could actually sue over; having similar mechanics doesn’t infringe on IO’s intellectual property. Would you think that Nintendo could sue someone for making a 2D game with platforming, power-ups and enemies you kill by jumping on their heads?
