Ole Fonzie definitely still has the chops. His character, Gene Cousineau, is so engaging. I’m pitying him one second and admiring him the next.

Totally agree. Pain is part of life, and it can teach. This is different from purposeful pain inflicted by another person. That’s punishment and I think in modern society it is counterproductive. Put people who are dangerous behind bars. Find other ways to deal with those who are not dangerous to others.

I loved this film and the opening credits set it up so nicely. The artwork some so detailed and perfect!

Congrats to Seth and his wife and family.

Interesting note, the blad guy is Anthony Corrigan and he has alopecia wrests which is why he has no eyebrows. His character is fun, imho.

Wow really? Kimmel is not the personification of lying and hypocrisy. Hannity is.

Personally, while I don’t find him hilarious, I do think Kimmel comes off as a decent person with actual values. Hannity? Not so much.

I forgot that! I did know at one point. SNL f’d up.

I loved the way you linked to Anthony Atamanuik’s Trump when you talked about better ways to satirize our orange in chief. Sorry, Alec, but you need watch The President Show. Or SNL needs to hire Atamanuik.

I’m judging all of you based on your music taste.

I’ve been to those once each. It was great. This seems fun too. It’s a great show. Thanks!

They really need to do more full seasons of this. As long as this nightmare is going to last, we need comic relief.

How did you get tickets? I would kill to go.

Like all the worst Simpsons episodes, it was crowded and busy with constant jokes in service of a plot we don’t care about and/or have seen a million times before.

I preordered the Eels and I’m getting the album one song at a time. It’s kinda torture. Sounds great so far. Gotta love E

The Simpsons is not what it was but there are so many worse shows you could watch. I mean, much of the oodles of crappy reality tv out there is stunningly awful. (Do I sound old? Because I am)

I am now obsessed with that painting. Seriously, I love it. The beige background with the primary colored shapes with the fine black lines. It’s serious and playful at the same time. And now I will never see without imagining Homer cavorting with the different shapes.

Went to the Bowie exhibit in NYC yesterday. So many things to see! Not a lot of depth and explanation but many many original costumes and handwritten pages and drawings. Took hours to get through. The headphones do get annoying after a bit but worth going. Imho.
