I am listening to Blackstar. It is sad to hear him talk about his death but it is such a gorgeous album.

I am almost fifty and I am not a big fan of Fall Out Boy etc but I have always liked Panic. They seem more interesting.

Love Viggo.

I never met him although it was always a dream of mine. I saw him only once in concert. Let me say, though, that he affected by life in a huge way. He fueled my passion for art and music, which still burns strong. I recommend the Critchley book on Bowie. It is not a biography although it contains a lot of Bowie

I'm gonna be fifty in March so…..

Who doesn't know like twenty Bowie songs? Sigh. You younguns

I guess I should just quit my job and put my life on hold. Who has time to watch even a quarter of these? Tell me about the one or two standouts.

I'm an atheist. However, the existence of David Bowie makes me think that I could be wrong.

Who is that young thin man with the dark hair in the bottom video? Omg, time marches on inexorably. I love Jon, but I forgot how long it's been since he took over TDS the nineties.

His comedy bits are incredible. I also love 1970s Larry.

I cannot believe that Getting On was mentioned only once. It was excellent and I am sad to see it go. Transparent and Mr Robot were amazing in totally different ways and I love Broad City. What great tv. I wish I had time to watch all of these shows.

Colbert's show should be number one in the ratings for late night. It's the only show of its kind that I'll watch. It's smart and hilarious, which is not surprising, with Colbert hosting. I love the pace and Stephen's ever present physical humor and obvious joy in performing. It also has an incredible set an amazing

I'll use this as an excuse to toe the line. The movie is a real kick in the face it never got off on the right foot..or left.

Oh god. I forgot. We had the nineties. Didn't we? That shirt and hairdo on Provenza. I bet I thought it was cool at the time. Arghh.

I forgot about this song. I loved the nineties. People were cynical but at least they were torn up a bit by it it. Now things are cynical and commercial and it's normal. Or maybe I'm just old.

Wait, I know we are probably not supposed to mention the abomination to man and nature that is the Johnny Depp version but I think he gets the Oompa Loompas from some tribe in that film.

Oh god

The Addams family was not only creepier, they a were damned bit sexier. Although, Raoul Julia's Gomez in the movie was the best, IMHO.

Not to worry…fellow old person here. I loved the Munsters as a kid. The Addams family creeped me out. Now, in retrospect, I appreciate the Addams so much more. :-)
