Well I'm thinking in terms of Daily show type political shows. I watched Arsenio back in the day. I'm old.

He is so obviously brilliant and well spoken and so wonderful with language. I don't know how he'd be as host but I'm psyched (yes.. I'm from the 80's)

Yeah.. Larry Wilmore paved the way. He is great.

I am actually great with this I love Trevor Noah!

cool! Ty!

I love these guys. I have, since the eighties. Funny how it's always Flansburgh that's interviewed and does the speaking. I love him but I also love John Linnell and wish he'd do the talking at least occasionally. He can't not have something interesting to say. Saw them several years ago in NYC at a sort of variety

Right? I liked it and was surprised by this… even by the A.V. Club.

Apparently, not yet.. sigh.

Bowie gives you range and emotion but he is cooler about it. He doles it out in bits and pieces and leaves you wanting more.

Yeah.. and they haven't had the Bowie exhibit in NYC yet… where Bowie lives…sigh. I love Bjork but not enough to see a sub par exhibition. The Bowie exhibit, I would see but I'm not going to London… or wherever it is now.

That beard; who are you and what have you done with Stephen?

This really turned into an anti Comcast thread; and deservedly so for Comcast. Let's not forget Harris though.

RIP :-(

I totally agree about the True Detective thing. I like him better if I think of him as Rust. I sincerely hope we are talking emotional memory regarding the academy. Psychology is a weird thing We can try to be unbiased. But stupid things, such as which film we saw most recently can affect a decision despite our best

I totally agree. He was more mesmerizing in other roles but he inhabited a complex character and made him sympathetic in DBC.

This was my favorite film of his. The pathos was right beneath the great comic timing and whimsy. It was EXTREMELY dark… But I loved it.

There'll never be a second Colbert flavor…except for bitter tears of loss…….

I never liked the Californians bit.. .
