Well I'm thinking in terms of Daily show type political shows. I watched Arsenio back in the day. I'm old.

He is so obviously brilliant and well spoken and so wonderful with language. I don't know how he'd be as host but I'm psyched (yes.. I'm from the 80's)

I love these guys. I have, since the eighties. Funny how it's always Flansburgh that's interviewed and does the speaking. I totally agree about the True Detective thing. I like him better if I think of him as Rust. I sincerely hope we are talking emotional memory regarding the academy. I totally agree. He was more mesmerizing in other roles but he inhabited a complex character and made him sympathetic in DBC.

This was my favorite film of his. The pathos was right beneath the great comic timing and whimsy. It was EXTREMELY dark… But I loved it.
