Exactly, which is why I'm wondering why the video was posted at all when it doesn't help showcase what's actually going on, until you read the interview if you just watch the video (which let's face it, most people do) you're going to be supremely unimpressed and uninterested.

Sounds interesting, but I can confidently say that I (or any game student) could create what was shown in the video in less than a week in UDK3, probably something that looks significantly better than that. There was really no point in the video other than to bring /down/ confidence in the game.

I think Sobey's grocery chains have them, they're in the Thrifty's at least which even has green apple flavour! I think I'll go buy some right now... and Fahey is absolutely right, once you've had this stuff, Twizzlers have the texture of resin soaked celery in comparison.

I was wanting to try before I saw it was a Facebook game. It looks interesting, but making an account is a line I'm not planning to cross any time soon. :(

Late night caketaku posts are always simultaneously the best and worst thing.

I'm not usually a fan of the game grumps style of humour on youtube but they're just so goddamn funny, the VS episodes of old trivia games are the greatest. You can watch as many episodes as you like, then not for a week, and the go back when you're not tired of it and there's a ton more to watch.

I actually paid below average and still got the new above-average games, but then I bought in the first hour the new bundle came out so that may have had something to do with it.

I think it's because we expect plot out of games now a days... really the only current Mario series stuff coming out covering that is Paper Mario.

Yfrog and picasa images never show for me inline, so I'm kind of applauding the move. As long as they don't remove links to say imgur, fine with me.

Due to the price I won't be buying one for a few years if that, but that is some lovely-ass box art. Electric blue and black is a great combo.

This kind of consumer milking isn't... that much like Nintendo... all at once I mean. They do the portable hardware iterations pretty close together but those are entirely optional cosmetic upgrades, you NEED a sensor bar for multiplayer games with the WiiU don't you? I'm pretty disappointed with them.

He won't be anything but Tamaki Suoh to me, but I suppose OHSHC isn't really the same demographic as Kotaku's readers.

These are wonderful... except there are five sided polys everywhere! No modeler worth their salt would have left those un-triangulated or quaded, it drives me nuts just looking at them. Otherwise gorgeous work, conveying a complex shape in rudimentary information is a great skill.

Most countries do that, Australians already pay about $16.50USD a pack.

I am a graduated game student and my two month timeframe demo reel looks better than this. If this sells even ten copies I could make big bank spewing out garbage once a month.

To get a visible improvement on the colour maps they'd need to bump up the resolution, so most textures would double in file size. Developers could do this from the get go except they need to make sure they conform to the game engine's limit, almost all textures are originally made 4k hi-res and then sized down and

I'd do it, what an easy $13 in 20 minutes. You don't even have to show your face.

It's videos like this that let me appreciate my age, as a 21 year old I was able to experience both cassette and CD, dial-up and DSL, DOS and Win95 GUI, Mac Colour Classic and the iMac at a period in my life where adults encouraged greater computer usage and literacy in kids. There was (at least to me) a noticeable

replied wrongly, sorry

I accidentally clicked off the page when it asks to make a separate inbox for the account, can I just add a folder with that name on the side or do I need to change a setting somewhere?
