Dear America,
Dear America,
Ok, maybe not too long per se, but certainly some of the later books could have done with a rigorous editing.
Erm, not quite.
I think given its insanely uneven hype to quality ratio I’d include Penny Dreadful in this list as well. It is just so flabbergastingly good.
T-Dog’s dead!?
We spend a lot more time [in the movie] on his failure to master basic skills, like accounting
I’m conflicted because he also writes Penny Dreadful which is all kinds of wonderful.
I’m with Janeway.
I’m really hoping that the only reason the writers have kept Glenn love iOS for him to meet Negan in the season finale.
I kind of heard that “that’s how we . .” as “that’s how we keep on getting over the fence and hanging out in the forest together” referring to her and Carl’s shenanigans last season. In retrospect I think you’re right though.
Was I the only one that got this from Simmons in space?
He raped his sister. Next to their dead son’s body.
Couldn’t agree more. Regardless of what you think of the show, these recaps are just dreadful and could easily be replaced with “NEEDS MOAR ‘SPLOSIONS” copied and pasted 100 times.
There, she finds some kind of letter which makes her cry, and later starts to cut herself. What’s going through her head? We don’t know. But at the end of the episode, we realize the note she found was from Susan to her husband Patrick, acknowledging that she’s about to become a zombie, is sorry and loves him.
And this is set in ‘Murica. I mean the only country that loves their military more is North Korea.
Sorry let me correct myself there: I’ve yet to hear of any of these “I’m not baking cakes for a tall person’s wedding because god told me not to” cases.
I’d imagine that any fan that liked her would like to see far less of her - every time she appears Moffat manages to mangle the character just a little bit more.
I really can’t understand how anyone can miss the fact that the Civil War comics were a pretty direct allegory of government over-reach during the worst days of the war on terror and the Superhero Registration Act Homeland Security Act. I mean it was 2006. George Bush was the President. Who on earth would let that son…
To be fair I’ve yet to hear of any of these “I’m not baking tall people cakes because god told me not to” cases.
They fought each other instead of fighting the situation together. They killed each other. they refused to discuss or compromise. They spent all their time yelling at each other and so very little looking at the problem.
