Maybe he had to get high to convince himself it was a good idea :)

Also ask them to say "mozzarella"!
Boo. I'm pretty sure that is what is happening here. It's too bad because I'm sure the brand name will be pricier, but I just can't keep taking this one.
I haven't had a chance yet. I'm sure I'm partially overreacting because I'm cranky after having such a bad reaction. However, the pharmacist was supposed to tell me about the substitution and give me a chance to refuse it (according to state law), something she didn't do.
You inspired me to look up the law for PA, the state I happen to be in. Apparently the substitution is actually required here unless the prescription states that the brand name is medically required, but the pharmacist should have told me about the substitution and given me the opportunity to refuse it.
This was an old school prescription pad - no such box sadly and I don't think she wrote "no substitutions" on it. It is good to know that I need to be aware of this. I'll have to make sure that I get one like that next time because the generic version really did a number on me.
Thanks. This is good information to know. What bothers me is that the prescription was specific (but doesn't say no substitutions - something I didn't know I needed to be on the lookout for), and the pharmacist didn't tell me that she was switching them. Given the relatively high instances of women reacting…
I recently went to get my BC prescription filled at a new pharmacy. The pharmacist switched me from Ortho-Tri-Cyclen to Tri-Sprintec (off brand version I guess) without discussing it with me. I didn't realize that until I got home so I figured I might as well try it for the next couple months. BAD IDEA. The new pills…
I came to the comments to say exactly this! It is actually incredibly difficult to be declared not guilty by reason of insanity, and the bar for competence to stand trial is very low. Whether your actions were weird is totally irrelevant.
$5 movies are not limited to Black Friday. There's been a bargain bin with these at every Walmart I have ever been to year round.

Please don't be. I'm giggling to myself like a crazy person, which is a nice contrast to my original reaction to this story.
I giggled.
Wait. If the genders were reversed, would our first reaction would be "this is probably part of the sex games"? Maybe it is, but I feel like the first assumption should be that he wants and needs help. I don't know. Maybe I'm being bleedy heart today.
Glorious.
I haven't read her books myself so that part is second hand, but the Draco Trilogy was really, really long and not all of it was plagiarized. I assume that she reused the portions that were her original work. As far as I know the plagiarism didn't go past the fanfiction period of her writing. My guess is that even if…
This is a thing that happened?
Jezzies are serious about their nerd-dom. ;)
SlayBelle already covered the sources, but I popped in to answer your question about suing. :) No one has ever sued her over this, and they quite easily could have even without the plagiarism since fanfiction technically falls afoul of copyright law. It just isn't a very viable lawsuit because there aren't real…
I would watch that too. It would be amazing.
