Man I really like most of Paul Williams' songs. I've always just reactively hated "You and Me Against the World", though. Would anyone agree with me hat Paul Pope has been just a mammoth but rarely noticed influence on comics these past 20 years or so? That "Year of Beasts" is an example. When I first saw THB it really grabbed me with his loopy, liquid drawing and lettering. Recently I feel like I see stuff like it all the time.
