I sure hope it was intentional. My own version of this is to set up my phone as a wifi hotspot at places where people will be checking (yesterday was the pool; today I’ll do it on the train) with an appropriate ID/message. Currently it’s “FUCK SHITHEAD TRUMP” but I switch it up pretty regularly.
