I think the opposite is true about being afraid of the US. Can you imagine the response that Russia or China would have had against such a situation? In fact they probably have dealt with stuff like this, but sent identifiable pieces of the guy's body around the world before it was published.

Dave Pell keeps saying he needed his phone to text and call and coordinate a meet up. He didn't need a smartphone though and the problem is people can't seem to differentiate.

@metronome49: Like i said it reminds me a lot of the false market created in the beanie baby thing. Sure there were some people that would buy a beanie baby for $30 and sell it for $500. But the guy that bought it for $500 would now be lucky to get $5 on ebay because the scarcity and market was never real.

The difference is the finite nature and resources of real property versus digital property. I say this is response to all the comments talking about a real estate investment. It is a false market made by the game creators. They control the scarcity, just like the false beanie baby market.

I'd like to see a Giz explains on how to handle personally recorded 3D material. Active shutter glasses have to be in sync with the frames on the TV... so do you have to burn your 3D content to a disk with this left eye, right eye information? Or can i hook up a laptop to a 3D TV and just play back 3D content…

i wish this would make its way into those iPad IS commericials.
