So, we were down somewhere around Redondo Beach at a friend’s house. He was waiting for his buddy to come over and they were going out to cruise some bars. Well, his buddy shows up, and it was Jan-Michael Vincent. He was nice enough and looked all worn out like a homeless man. But, he was a hero of mine from youth.

We used to buy bottles of Boone’s Farm, drink about a quarter of them and then fill them back up with vodka. Bad vodka. It was bad. It was also what I was carrying on me when I got my ticket for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Not my proudest moment.

Well, clearly not clean living.

I bet you got too drunk by half.

One of my buddies in college used to take a gigantic gas-station plastic mug and dump a can of frozen OJ concentrate in it, and just fill the rest with vodka. He’d then proceed to go get trashed playing frisbee-golf. Fuck yeah.

Sidewalk slammer

That stadium is in fine condition. This is all so dumb.

The real problem has always been the size of the stadium. Even when they are good the Dbacks never sell out because it holds 48K and is the 5th largest stadium in MLB. I was a season ticket holder for 1 year and then I realized how stupid it was because you can always get a ticket and I could never sell the ones I

Lovely logic. Our current stadium is in disrepair so someone needs to build us another. Why is the first one in disrepair? Oh, cause they don’t fucking repair it. Stadium subsidies are horrible-as are subsidies of any private company.

This is the right answer.

They should replace them with Cubic-zirconia-backs and see whether anyone notices.

As always: Let ’em walk.

Matt Harvey traded for Devin Mesoraco....

It’s weirdly callous. LeBron’s played for Pop multiple times as part of Team USA and has repeatedly expressed his love and appreciation for the guy. Dropping that bomb on him is a dick move, and honestly I thought he handled it amazingly well.

I am SO glad the O’s dodged the bullet of signing him. Overpaying for his, Chris Davis’ AND Chris Tillman’s shitty performances would have been brutal. I did enjoy those awkward statements of interest in 2017 from a guy who took great delight in kicking their asses and flipping his bat as high as he possibly could,

He follows me, I’ve always figured his account was run by a firm who for whatever reason went out of their way to reach out to as many sports fans on twitter as possible. Chuck Knoblauch started following me at right around the same time Bautista did- I always assumed there was a connection there with the same firm

As a Ranger fan, I couldn’t be happier to hear this.
