Toyota-branded sepukku daggers: worst conference swag ever

Instead of putting more nannies on cars, how about we enforce the rules we already have?

Something I noticed while driving in UK is that they generally drive the speed limit. Americans swear that Europeans are better drivers because of training, but my observations are that they are far more likely to follow laws.

One vehicle, one person in the wrong place and this guy is strawberry jam; which is fine. The tragedy is the person he hits.

In a Tesla, you can opt for the “chill” setting-which reduces acceleration to a more normal level. That should help.

I just checked my Model Y with just over 13k and they’re all about 1/4 of the way through. So I’ll get about 50k give or take.

OEM tires can be such a crap shoot. They don’t always pick the best tire, but sometimes a tire that meets a need. Similar situation with Toyota and the Tacoma TRD pro. They put junk all-seasons on it from the factory since A/T or more aggressive tires would ding MPG’s. You could always get dealer installed tires to

I just checked the wear bars on my Model 3 yesterday. I am about due... after 51000 miles.

I said there were over 100 Model 3s listed for sale between $20K and $25K. 😘

I mean it is actually a legit competitor and the two cars are very frequently cross-shopped, so yes.

You are right in one regard to hybrids. My cousin ridiculed hybrids, especially the prius. At Thanksgiving he drove my newish Ford Maverick hybrid. Lived the size and couldn't believe the gas mileage. He put in an order for four of them for his landscaping business that week. Key to him was that he never has to plug

Agreed on public charging. I actually have a better idea. Install level 2 chargers in public parking areas and use those as a replacement for parking meters. Everyone benefits.

My family tradition is that decorations go up the day after Thanksgiving and go down on New Years Day.

The 2013-2018 engines were listed as defeats and the 2019-2023 were listed as AECD violations. Unfortunately, the details don’t appear to have been released yet.

the tree isn’t going anywhere any time soon. The rest of the decorations are coming down but the trees ambient light makes the living room a happy place and the train underneath is fun to play with.

Neutral: Christmas Bear in the front yard is coming down today.

So you’re saying NASA needs to hire the world’s best drillers?

If dealers would just cut back on the “Market Adjustment” BS, maybe they could move some. There are actually Siennas sitting on lots now. I have had the option to buy a couple...but 5k over MSRP. The fuck outta here. I’ve been waiting almost 2 years with the stipulation that I will not pay over MSRP, a few more months

Gee, dealers can’t sell cars at current prices? Maybe they should try, I dunno, selling them for lower prices? Just thinking out loud here.

How strange that it’s hard to move $80k Chevy Tahoes.
