It’s fine. The plane is good. I’m a commercial aircraft mechanic, I’m flying on one in two weeks, and I couldn’t care less.

My understanding (I work with credit reports but not specifically car credit pulls) is that multiple inquiries within a short period of time don’t negatively affect your score, for example if you’re shopping around for a mortgage or auto loan. Most likely the new dealer, yes, will pull your credit.

Pretty hard not to miss the Mark Levinson stereo. It’s all over the speakers and dash.

In the OP’s situation given that they’re buying a Honda (holds value well), putting a good chunk down as a downpayment, and presumably their loan term isn’t outrageous agreed that GAP is almost always something they try to guilt you in to purely to make a quick buck.

Well, the Maverick is not really what those folks say they want. Nobody is asking for a unibody, 4 door, tiny bed pickup, and that is what appears the Maverick will be. It is not analogous to the old Ford Courier, that Mazda based pickup from the 1970s, and that is what those people are asking for.

Meanwhile I’m wondering whether any sponsor pressures were exerted on Danica that she felt uncomfortable with, but did anyway. Ultimately, if she was comfortable doing those GoDaddy ads and whatnot, that’s her decision, but if she was pressured into it by the team or the sponsors or whatever, that sucks.

I was just thinking of writing a comment about how Musk fans and Trump fans seem cut from the same weird cloth. Same cult of personality, anything is excusable, facts don’t matter approach. Just centered around rather different things, but disconnected from reality in similar ways.

I despise Trump. I truly do. But don’t think for a second that he is the first president to make some questionable pardons. Look up Bill Clinton’s pardons, including his drug dealing brother and Marc Rich.

I’m a happy Tesla owner and my car hasn’t had any issues in 10k miles of ownership. However. If this happens to me, any “brand loyalty” goes out the window. If you wanna make your car dependent on a single screen for basically every function including the speedometer, you better fucking make sure that screen works.

God damn, the grill on that silver monster just screams ‘I WILL KILL YOU.’  I hate it.

I think this all corresponds to the current arms race in men’s razors.

Good lord familiarity has not improved that new grill at all. It is hideous.

A star for the red one. But side by side just makes the other truck's grill look grotesque.

*Nervous Laughter*

Not sure how this hasn’t been posted yet.

You deserve it.

To be fair that Silverado has a suspension lift. This is my brother’s stock height 3500. Still enormous in person though. He actually uses it to tow big things.

but Tesla isn’t known for nailing execution.”

I’ve always felt guilty for liking it, and I think I realized why: this is how cars would look like if they could get their clothes off.
