I’ve traded in three cars that had serious, obvious issues. I made full disclosure on two of them. Was prepared to answer honest questions on the third and did nothing to hide the problem. The dealers couldn’t care less. As long as it kinda ran and drove, it would get across the auction block. They told me that’s all

That explains all the $1,234 listings on older vehicles. I’ve had to explain to numerous people that once a vehicle gets over 7 years, KBB and NADA become extremely unreliable. Too many junk examples dragging down the prices of good examples. It’s also common in some states for private party sales to record a lower

Neutral;

Pain meds suck. When I broke my collarbone, I only took a few between the accident and surgery. Post surgery, I realized they were making me an aggressive asshole so I stopped after a total of maybe 6 total pills.  I’m normally just an asshole :-)

But not if they put down their phone and latte!

Neutral; 46 in one week with over 1,200 employees.

That’s why I love Planet Fitness. The small percentage of us that use it regularly are subsidized by the members that only show up on free pizza night, if at all.

All that means Austin would make a better home for Tesla HQ if they were to move it from California. Tulsa is cheap and should be able to supply enough blue collar workers to staff at least the first round of hiring. Elon wants to build a production facility was easier access to the east coast. Tulsa does that better

You assume people will look away from their phones long enough to notice.

Neutral; Yes, I’m OK with dealers selling cars, however I think they should be by appointment only.  That way they can limit the number of people in the building and have enough time to clean every car that returns from a test drive.

Is raking in the profits from fewer accidents doing nothing?  My wife is essential and I’m kinda essential (non-essential division of an essential company) so we are still driving.  I’m not complaining but if we weren’t driving, I would be.

Your missing the bigger picture. Some people will get to work from home permanently after this. If a household has multiple cars, one can be eliminated. My wife is going to be one of those since her work was going to transition her to an at home employee before Covid. They pushed up the schedule a couple of months. We

Or working in non-essential divisions of essential companies who are forcing us to work under the “essential company” umbrella...

My wife has a 2013 Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi. I’ve also researched this in case I need to do the same. Pretty much any Hemi is prone to this failure.

But less fun!

I’m screwed. When I get the call to work from home, I only have about four hours of work to do on my fleet. I will need to find a way to “work” without cell phone signal since I’m going to be doing projects at the property I plan to build a house on next year.

I tried!  Local VW dealer didn’t seem to care that I was asking them to find a blue one with brown interior.  Only made a half-assed attempt to sell me one off the lot.  I ended up across town at Subaru...
