Is that truck being listed by the family of that guy who was killed on Sentinel Island trying to bring them Jesus?

Katherine Legge isn’t on the list. But she regularly mixes it up with the boys and wins.

School bus industry. Similar to automotive but with more focus on regulation compliance than fit and finish. Automotive engineers who can adapt do well. Not sure if there are any openings, but Thomas (Freightliner), IC (Navistar) and Blue Bird are the big three. The industry itself is fairly recession proof. People

Courtesy like that is rare. If your lucky, they just slap “return to sender, no longer at address” on it.

I let my dash camera take care of the filming for me. I then go back later and watch the footage if I remember/care enough to do so. To date, after several years of using a dash camera, I have gone back and watched zero accident footage.

This is what insurance companies do. Pay for the damages up front then take the guilty party to court and subrogate the damages to recoup their loses.

Assuming the high tech wizardry they put into this engine holds up long term, is easily adaptable to different applications or easily removable, I could see it taking off as a cheap junkyard jewel, like the old ford 2.3 turbo.

These athletes are so far above and beyond normal mortals, one cannot even begin to compare themselves to their accomplishments.

I was called “family guy” back at my high school job (before there was a show by that name)...

No change over 22 years.  First car was a station wagon, current car is a station wagon.  Several wagons in between.

I had a two door manual XJ for a few years. Was my dogs favorite vehicle to ride in. Previous owner thrashed it pretty hard though. Engine had been badly overheated and never ran right while I had it. Syncros in the trans were shot so double clutching was required. Interior filth was worse than 2sexy from Mighty Car

Broken collarbone from being blind sided by an uninsured, unlicensed, under-aged girl talking on a cell phone who was turning right on red. Needless to say, they threw the book at her. My motorcycle was effectively totaled.

Better anti-theft device than a manual transmission.

It’s actually surprising how many of them are driving on suspended or revoked licenses. Then there are the special ones that never had one to begin with. When my wife worked at a bank, it wasn’t unusual for someone to send in a state ID instead of a driver’s license while using the drive through.

I think I saw the last existing Intrepid in Kansas this year! It was on the side of the road engulfed in flames.

Did he turn out to be a Nigerian prince later?

A lemon ZX2? That’s very odd. I worked for Ford from 2001 to 2006 and would frequently look up specific VINs in the warranty system. For the most part, ZX2s were bullet proof. The first generation Focus on the other hand... I remember looking one up that had the fuel pump replaced twice within the warranty period,

Had a good experience at a Kia dealer. Took an Optima out for a test drive with no hassle or salesman ride along. Ended up buying a used Optima elsewhere. Returned to that dealership for parts, warranty work and services outside my skill level.

I had a similar Subaru experience last year. Totally mind blowing. Tried to buy a VW first, but the VW dealership was only interested in giving test drives. When the conversation turned to price negotiation (via email) a few days later, the suddenly lost interest.
